I use this cooler to store insulin and keep it cool in places that are exposed to the heat, the sun, the rugged backcountry, and on group outings with other type ones. I take it to the beach in a tote or a backpack to keep my insulin pump out of the sun and away from the heat while out on a surf. I would take it out on desert camping trips in the Mojave and connect my solar panel to the USB lid to turn it into a mini-fridge where there's no power but there's a lot of free sunlight and keep backup insulin protected from the desert heat and away from the light. It's also a handy way to keep backup meds in the car during the summertime with the freezer gel, it won't matter how hot the car gets on the inside, it stays cold inside the cooler for a few days if left unopened. It's also a good way to travel with my insulin on long road trips, I'd just plug in the USB lid, and it’s good to go.

In short, this cooler is DOPE. I mean a cooler specifically made just for my insulin? Tell me more...
