Cheesy Humus Dip

Vegan (plant based) Cheesy Humus Dip. The perfect snack for any diabetic that wants to eat more healthy and keep those sugar levels low.

Ingredients

  • 1 can chickpeas (40g carbs)
  • 2 table spoons nutritional yeast flakes (3g carbs)
  • 2 table spoons tahini (6,4g carbs)
  • 1 table spoon garlic powder (7,1 carbs)
  • 1 table spoon paprika powder (3,7g carbs)
  • 1 table spoon chili flakes (1g carbs)
  • 2 table spoons olive oil
  • pinch of salt

Preparation method

  • Add all ingredients to food processor or blender
  • Blend
  • Add the fluid of the chickpeas when too dry and blend again
  • Warm hummus in microwave
  • Serve with pita bread or corn chips
